An indoor cat

I hear conflicting info about whether an indoor cat with no contact with other animals needs the annual shots….they are rather expensive so I wanted to know if she needs these shots…thank you.

Question about indoor cat vaccination

We adopted a brother and sister from the same litter of cats. They were 8 weeks old at the time and had their first initial shots. We finished up the first round of shots and then we had them receive shots at 1 year of age. They are now about 3 1/2 and we have […]

Dog’s penis not retracting

I adopted an approx. 5 year old male long-haired chihuahua. He is about 4 lbs. He had not been neutered until the rescue group received him at the end of July. Adding flavoring to water

My Papillon recently had surgery for bladder stones, calcium oxalater. The vet want him to drink more water but he doesn’t want to drink that much. I was thinking about adding this all natural flavoring to his water. Please let me know what you think about it. He’ll only need about 3 drops or so.

Question about my cats breathing

When my 5 year-old cat is in a deep sleep, she wheezes loudly. She doesn’t do this when she’s awake. Should I be concerned? Her 3 year-old daughter becomes mean and bites when she chews celery, cabbage or catnip. Why? Is it the same as the “happy drunk” and the “mean drunk”?

Shots for older pets

I have some lady telling me that I don’t need to get my 4 1/2 year old yorkie shots anymore because you folks are stating that shots are killing older pets. True?
