My son’s 1.5 yr old Boston Terrier might be allergic to grass

My son’s Boston Terrier was fine during the winter, but the moment the grass started growing (might be Bermuda grass) the dog is red on his paws, muzzle and belly. What do you recommend for this? I know replanting the yard would be great, but not sure if he can afford to do that at this time.

In a case like this we would use Heska testing to define the allergy. They would then develop a specific hypoallergenic serum to administer to relieve the allergy. Alternatively we would use prednisilone to treat the allergy. Often antibiotics are required to treat a secondary skin infection. Allergic dogs tend to develop additional allergies as they grow older and using both Heska and prednisilone would not be out of the question.
