I have a question about dog food

Are the holistic dog foods worth the money?

Answer from Dr. Gaylord Brown:
High quality foods are more expensive, but are worth the money. Prices vary considerably. Look for foods with no meat by products, no corn, no wheat, and no soy. Look for unique protein sources; like salmon, buffalo, venison, and rabbit. Carbohydrate sources of brown rice and potato are preferred. Avoid artificial colors and preservatives.

Thanks… I have 3 Cavaliers and since switching to Nature’s Variety I can’t believe the difference in their coats and mood. I had to take my puppy( 16mos ) off the Instict (no grain) as she had too much energy. My fat male lost weight on it and doesn’t need to go to the groomer as his coat is silky and doesn’t mat. My young one use to be super picky and never finished her food… no more and I rotate between the meats. Everyone I’ve told about this food loves it too. I know Orjien is rated highest but my dogs wouldn’t eat it and my friends Borzoi either. I have a friend with a 14yr old Whippet who stopped eating and Vet said he was fine and I told him about Prairie( NV) and he’s been eating ever since. THANKS !!!!
