My 10 week old Cavachon puppy freq coughs/gags (I don’t know which). I have had him to the vet for his puppy check up and he told me he was fine.He doesn’t do this at any specific time. he is eating well, gaining weight, running around and doing regular puppy stuff. Should I be concerned? And what might this be?

Make sure your puppy has been properly dewormed. Sometimes migrating larvae from internal parasites can cause coughing and gagging in puppies. Second, specifically ask about tracheobronchitis, an upper respiratory infection that should be treated with antibiotics. Be aware that occasional coughing and gagging in puppies can be normal. If your veterinarian has ruled out these health problems there is probably nothing to worry about.
