Question about my cats breathing

When my 5 year-old cat is in a deep sleep, she wheezes loudly. She doesn’t do this when she’s awake. Should I be concerned?
Her 3 year-old daughter becomes mean and bites when she chews celery, cabbage or catnip. Why? Is it the same as the “happy drunk” and the “mean drunk”?

Answer from Dr. Gaylord Brown:
Certainly sounds like the older cat is afflicted with a form of snoring and it is probably not a problem. Interesting description of the younger cat! I think I would eliminate those items from her life as it may be a form of an allergic reaction.
