Yellow foamy bile through up

My dog will through up a yellow foamy bile in the mornings. Getting food in his stomach usually prevents the problem but he usually does not have an appetite in the AM. Have tried all the best dog foods etc. but he still struggles to eat. A friend suggested to have cat grass available for him to eat? How about antacids for dogs? Buddy is a male lab mix. Thanks.

Answer from Dr. Gaylord Brown:
Yes, the use of antacids or acid reducers are valid treatments in dogs. This may well be a good idea in your pet. However, if this is a sudden behavior, with a loss of appetite, and other signs like weight loss; you should pursue a diagnostic work up for your pet.
