My dog refuses dog and 98 % people food but weighs 16# she whins when she wants to eat then it’s on my nerves go off the chart Need to see if she has intestinal issues
My 12-lb. 10-yr-old chihuaua (Marlet) coughs. She's done it for years, but seems to be increasing. She seems otherwise healthy and active, has a good appetite and appropriate waste elimination. Her teeth aren't in great shape. She often coughs upon waking in the morning, but sometimes after playing. It's a deep, rasping cough, but she shows no signs of throat soreness. She often coughs several times and concludes with a "gag". Other times (but not always), she seems to be able to stop voluntarily when her name is called or if she's offered a treat. She's seen a veterinarian for other things, lameness, chiropractic, bee sting, when her heart has been checked with no mention of problem by the vet.
I am looking for a diet for my golden retriever 4 years old who is medicated with phenobarbital for seizures
I have three dogs that were left with me and I can no longer care for and owner won't take them back. What can I do?
I dont have the knowledge or means to gain trust in this kitten it will die if no one helps us and no one i habe contacted will help
My husband says he too aggressive and we need to get rid of him
17-month-old pit bull's left ear consistently irritated, inflamed, reddish-brown "dirt". No fleas or ticks. She's the only one of 7 dogs who has the problem and only in one ear. I clean it regularly and have used Mometavet as prescribed in the past. I need a "second opinion".
Can i use CBD oils with her? We are packing to move soon and she is anxious. We will be going from a three floor town house where she is an indoor outdoor cat...to a four room apt (temporarily) and she will be a strictly indoor cat.
My cat had 5 upper teeth pulled in April 2019. Bumps in upper gum only area. Bio was done came back Neg for anything. Gums were fine for awhile but are now inflamed and has trouble eating. She is on 0.1ml Gabapentin oral and Mirtazapine 15mg (1/3 pill every other day for appetite.
Do you know of any supplement or treatment for her? Everyone tells me to pull all the teeth because that is the only way to help her. I want to of course make the best decision for her. I would love to know you opinion on this.
He takes 2.5mg SID. Is it safe to vaccinate him
Fiona is a 1-year old collie mix. She is aggressive to people and other dogs and she is becoming aggressive to family members. We have tried everything we can afford. We tried with a trainer and now a behaviorist. Unfortunately we don't have the resources needed to keep her with a behaviorist as it takes $235/hour + boot camps for a long period of time. We love her and don't want to put her down. We want her to be safe. Please advise.
I found a stray a few months ago and soon after she started losing her fur and now she is mostly bald with flaky skin that oozes something and has fowl odor ( I say like wet soggy old potatoes, like for hash browns, but my family says it's way more disgusting) and she has a overly healthy appetite and drinks loads of water but she remains super skinny and looks emaciated. I took her to the vet but I couldn't afford the blood tests that might have diagnosed what was wrong with her. They prescribed pills; prednisone, cephalexin and a shampoo; ketohex. I couldn't afford them all ado the vet gave me what he felt would suffice. The treatment worked at first and I even bought more of the same shampoo online. but now she looks like it's returning. Do you have any suggestions on anything I can do to get her healthy again? I'm out of options and can't afford another trip to the vet I'm disabled and rely on ssi to get by.
I have 2 small dogs and 1 large dog are you a no kill shelter, and how long would they stay if not adopted
I have a senior chihuahua who is in the end-stages of CHF and is taking vetmedin, Enalapril, Lasix and hydrocodone. I would like to cut back on the hydrocodone and try CBD to see if I can give him some comfort. Are there any drug interactions, specifically with the vetmedin since it’s a calcium blocker?
Had to vet has been on antibiotics and now lasix. Doesn't want to drank as much as usual .Acts like has problem with male parts. Fear may be slightly blockage or prostate trouble? Sometimes can't pee for short while needs instegated sometimes like baby.
My wife and I recently lost our cat to what we believe was a heart attack. To have a cat live with us for 8 years, then suddenly die without warning or symptom has been devastating. We want to get another kitten but are concerned the same thing might happen. From what I've read, it seems like it's unavoidable and if your cat is predisposed to have the disease, there's nothing that can be done. Is this the case? Any idea why this disease is so prevalent among cats?
He has heart murmurs and it's a category 3 so he's taking Pimobendan and I want to give him CBD oil but I'm not sure if they will work against eachother.
I put gulls and made a rap around his neck he is a deibetic and he’s blind chi is 12 years old still eating. Just don’t no what to do for him
My dog was anemic for months and it was determined that she wasn’t producing red blood cells. IBD was apparently the cause and she was prescribed Prednisone and Cyclosporine.
Possible kitty herpes. My Maine Coon has ongoing sinus infection with snoring, nasal discharge, lethargy.
She’s a female American Rottweiler that’s about 8 years old. I feel like I want to do something to save her but at the same time don’t want her to suffer.
Rescued female chihuahua age 4-5, weighs 3 pounds and have had her for 3 years. Vet recommends having her spayed as a way to protect her in the future relative to other diseases. Please share your opinion also.
How do/can you keep track of all your animals for needed flea control, rabies, distemper, etc medications? Do you microchip them? My little Merlon Cocker Spaniel (10 years old) had skin cancer and it spread so quickly we had to euthanize him (July 2018) before it spread to his bones, which would have really caused him a lot of needless pain. What do you do in that sort of situation? Do you administer expensive chemotherapy with no assurance of any amelioration of it's condition, or do you euthanize it, knowing a cure is hopeless?
Advanced Tcc cancer - any alternative therapy that would be useful. Thank you

My aunt was put in a nursing home & my uncle has 2 months to live dying of cancer. I can not take cats my husband is deathly allergic to cats.
Hi, Recently my cat who is about one year old had her second liter of kittens. They are coming on three weeks old. Yesterday, my cat was looking sick and her meow was crackly. Someone let her outside yesterday morning, and she hasn’t come back which is unusual considering the fact that she has 5 kittens here and whenever she goes outside is back within 1-2 hours. We have a littler cat who is a couple months old and who happens to be a kitten from her first liter. She got sick first, and was acting the same way her mom is acting now. I was just wondering if it was normal for a mom cat to leave her babies when she’s sick? And will she come back?
