Can the steroid in the medication cause aggression problems?

I have a 2 year male american pitbull terrier, he was put on temaril due to kennel cough. I have experienced aggression problems every since the second day of medication. Is this normal? can the steroid in the medication be causing this?

This can be an unfortunate side effect of the steroid in the medication. The reaction needs to be reported to the prescribing veterinarian and get the dog off of the medication.
