Cant afford the vet what can I use to help heel the sore

I put gulls and made a rap around his neck he is a deibetic and he’s blind chi is 12 years old still eating. Just don’t no what to do for him

A sore that won’t heal is often more than just a sore! This may be a small tumor that is ulcerated on the surface. Only keep it wrapped if he is scratching or rubbing the area. Leaving it open to the air would more likely help the sore dry out. Application of a topical first aid ointment, like bacitracin, two or three times a day would help the healing if it is not a tumor.
