The best recommendations is one from your fellow pet owners. Talk to your neighbors, church members and business associates. Then ask to tour the hospitals of those recommended. Further, the veterinarian should be a member of the state and national associations for veterinarians. Finally, try more than one with routine visits prior to needing a veterinarian for an emergency.
