Dog has irritable bowel syndrome

My vet found that my 3-year old dog has irritable bowel syndrome. Can I feed her a commercial brand kibbles other than Hill Co W/D food which I must buy from a veterinary clinic.

There are a number of foods available commercially that are similar to w/d. Take the ingredient label of w/d to the pet sore and compare! You are looking for a food with a unique protein and carbohydrate source and a source of fiber (preferably not wheat bran). You may have some success if you initially test the dog for food allergies with HESKA testing. If an allergy is also involved the company makes specific diet recommendations.
