Though short haired Pit Bulls actually shed a lot! As long as there is regrowth and no bald spots this is normal. Frequent brushing will help remove loose hair in a confined space. A good alpha omega fatty acid supplement will help keep the coat healthy. At the Sanctuary we use Hemp oil. We also use a product called Stop Stool Eating to prevent this objectionable habit. This does not mean there is a diet deficiency. Feed the tablets daily and it helps to break the habit.
