My 13.5 cat has had diarrhea for several days.

He is eating and drinking water. He was sick three years ago. The Animal Medical Center said he would probably live only 6 months. I am trying to make him comfortable. Do you have any suggestions. Thank you

You do not give enough information for me to know what may be wrong. When was the six month time frame given, now or three years ago? Medications we use for diarrhea include flagyl and centrine. We prevent dehydration by giving fluids, which you can do at home by subcutaneous route.
