My dog keeps licking her upper lips after 4 teeth extracted 10 moths ago. Only in the last 4 weeks though, off her food…well being fussy, won’t eat her biscuits. Eats scrambled eggs and her soft food. Eats her treats, occasionally turns her nose up to her soft food. She has vomited bile occasionally 1st thing in the morning.

This may be related to other teeth that have become a problem or a problem with the previous extraction sites. It could be a completely unrelated problem with dentistry! At the Sanctuary we would start off with a good oral exam by the veterinarian that did the extractions, move on to laboratory blood work and radiographs if indicated. We would consider dental radiographs if there was a site that did not heal properly in the mouth.
