My girl just hatched gosling‘s on Thursday and one of the gosling’s has curled up feet and legs that move but cannot stand on. I’ve started on the B complex and niacin but have seen no improvement. The gosling is very healthy is eating and drinking but does not want to stand. Any ideas on what else I can do to help the baby?

Gently uncurling the foot and taping them to light cardboard to keep the foot flat with micropore medical tape may be helpful. This condition is considered a vitamin B deficiency but the addition of vitamins takes time to affect. It is important to straighten the toes before contracture becomes permanent. Usually they do not have to wear these long.
