My four year old nuetered male Siamese has a scarred left ventricle and enlarged left atrium. The cardiologist put him on Lasix and Elanapril. She told me that he may live another year or two. Is this combination fairly typical in these cases? Thanks

This is a common drug combination for the treatment of a cardiac problem in cats. We tend to use spironolactone instead of lasix, due to less potassium depletion, but the principal is the same.
