Refusing to eat most food. Am blending and tried everything. Shes losing weight. Vet checked. Has still got hole in gum and looks sore. No help from vet. What can I do?

Some form of pain management should follow extractions, liquid forms are available for ease of administration, such as metacam. There are liquid diets that can be syringe fed during recovery made by Clinicare. Also syringe feeding or offering soups can be helpful. Such lack of appetite should only be a couple of days, otherwise hospitalization may be required.
