Wonderful website. Recently rescued a kitten who has ringworm. She was prescribed lime/sulpher dip which is working but has not totally cleared it. Have dipped 6 times. Also applying a topical antifungal. How do you manage ringworm at your shelter? My kitten is seperated from my two dogs and eight cats but I am afraid of them catching it. I have gotten ringworm and am being treated by a derm. Does the ringworm usually resolve? What type of disinfectant do you use at the shelter? Any info you could share on the subject would be very appreciated. Thank you

We are very aggressive with ringworm outbreaks. In addition to the topical treatments you mention we also use Nizoral orally and treat for at least 2 weeks after there are no symptoms. We use dilute bleach to disinfect inanimate objects. We use 1 cup per gallon of water.
