reoccurring bladder infection in fox hound

About a year ago I adopted an elderly fox hound, she came to me with a bladder infection that no matter how many times treated it re occurs, I know she is terribly uncomfortable…is there anything I can do other than keep treating with antibiotics? our vet doesn’t give me much hope.

This pet needs more diagnostics. She may not have just a bladder infection. She may have bladder stones or a bladder tumor. There are treatments for both conditions, but first a definitive diagnosis needs to be made. Consider contrast radiographs and an ultrasound of the bladder.
