I read your article on vaccinating so did I understand it right do you recommend only giving the shots every 3 years. I adopted a rescue 3 months ago and she 8 months to a year. They said they gave her shots. Should I give her shots again this year and then every 3 years after that. I don’t want to make her take more than she needs.

That is correct. A puppy or kitten needs vaccination boosters at about one year of age, then boosters every 3 years.
